June 2018 DTNS Update (Patreon)

Well hi everybody! Thanks for supporting the show. This is your exclusive DTNS Monthly Update.

Last month's best guess for the picture was from doctor aka Taco Tech NEws Shack "The Apple IIgs is obvious, Newton MessagePad 2000 is obvious (since they have names on them), looks like a 2nd or 3rd gen iPod, and an original Nokia 3310, which is the best phone ever. ~doctor"

This month we ask not only what this is, because I'm sure many of you will know, but WHEN it was taken. Try to get close. If you're really clever you should be able to nail it.

TOM'S NOTE

June gloom may be upon us but we will continue to shine the light for y'all as much as possible. In the wake of the May maelstrom of developers conferences we'll keep in hammering away at interpreting what all of their announcements mean and try to cut through the hype.

Plus you may have noticed we're trying our best to widen our topics out from just being about Google/Apple/Facebook/Amazon/Microsoft. We can't ignore those companies. There's a reason why they're the biggest in the world. But when a story is real and interesting that's not from them we've been making an extra effort to put it in front of you.
