Only one week in and we are within $1500 of the goal. HUGE thanks to all the amazing folks who have increased their pledges and a big welcome to new supporters.

If you haven't increased yet and you like the idea of Sarah on the show and our new show ideas consider adding $1 to what you give now. That's $12 a year for you and the world of difference to us.

A few of you have asked what else you can do. Spread the word! Whether it's sharing the Facebook group or tweeting about the Patreon or taking an Instagram of your sandwich. Well the last is just to make me feel less bad for doing that on Friday but the first two are truly helpful.

I must definitely post here I have issue with Rodger Chang and his CNET article recently published with the title in it referring to trekkies. Those who follow Star Trek who are great fans of Star Trek corrected even the great and venerable Gene Roddenberry and one of his first convention appearances that the term is Trekkers never tricky's I am surprised shocked dismayed at Rodger Chang's admonition of the term and I wish that spell check someday we'll spell Rogers last name or is it his first name correctly. This too shall pass has good enough as adequate.
