Sorry this took so long. Came down with a wretched sore throat half way through production which slowed things up a little bit.

Dear Mr. The Dom: Having been a Patreon sponsor of yours for a while, I now feel justified in making a request, and adding another book to your (undoubtedly long) list of Lost in Adaptation reviews. It’s one of my new favorite books about alien invasion, called Battlefield Ea…. Just kidding! I wouldn’t ask that of any innocent reviewer, let alone one I like. Anyway the actual book/movie I’d like to request is called The True Meaning of Smekday, by Adam Rex, a surprisingly intelligent and well written book aimed at younger readers, which Dreamworks saw fit to adapt into an animated movie called Home. A word of warning though, this will probably be another one of your “In Name Only” clause reviews – like I said, the book is a thoughtful and funny look about alien invasion as told through the eyes of an 11 year old girl. The movie is… cute. Not bad, per se, just Dreamworks-y. Anyway, thanks in advance! I look forward to seeing this review, whenever you get around to it. (Though I don’t expect it to be for a long time, as you’ve undoubtedly got an entire library of other requests to get through before mine.) A great fan Kathleen Jackson
