You should read The Vampire Armand just to see his side of the story. Including a rather disturbing bit about Claudia.

Loved this! I refuse to believe Lestat is a truly reliable narrator- his ego is just too big!

Come for the vampires, stay for the cat.

I'm a little curious what the huge air pressure change in his studio was.

Seriously, I loved seeing this, not least of which because getting a clear idea about the timeline of a Vampire Chronicles novel can be difficult just from reading; in between philosophical discussions, you might not remember which country they're in or whose unrequited love was the reason for the most recent falling out. I say I have a clearer picture of Lestat's busted years than I ever got from multiple readings of the book. My favourite part was trying to puzzle out how much this does or doesn't gel with the first book. If you're writing fanfiction, you need to come up with at least some explanation, and the Rashomon effect is as good as any. It annoyed me at the time, not being aware of the book's history, how a character changed so much by perspective that he was practically a different person. 'Soft reboot' isn't a phrase I ever applied to it, but it's accurate.

I was wondering, are you ever gonna do a video on Darren Shan? The movie adaptation is pretty bad but interesting and the books go batshit crazy later on.

Just wanted to say thanks for still using costumes n wigs. Like, you obviously don't have to. But it really adds to the video quality somehow. Hard to explain.
