So has there been an adaptation that goes more into the the whole genius/ninja/assassin/ mechanist/magician/architecture aspects?

Can't wait to see the skits inserted in the episode. I've always been disappointed with adaptations not including the Persian and poorly representing the torture chamber. If you skipped anything it was that Christine tried to kill herself via headdesk before having to choose the grasshopper or the scorpion.
