I believe this is the first of your reviews I've ever backed out of. I thought I'd be okay but as I am now shaking, I guess not. Thank you for the trigger warning right at the beginning, it's bloody greatly appreciated even if I was being stubborn about heeding it.

Congrats on hitting 150k subs

Honestly prefer the 21 chapter version

I had no idea the last chapter was originally left out here in America, because when I read it the last chapter was there.

Great job, Dom. Brave choice of subject. I for one will never return to the film no matter how well made it was. Nor will I read the book. If someone will it is on them. Good luck to you.

I do wish there was a director's cut version with the proper end deflating Alex's return to darkness.

I've only ever fully watched this movie once. Every other time ive seen this, ive had to take it parts because its SOOO hard to watch!

I remember reading the book in the early 1980s. As I was living in London at the time, I read the British version. My roommate had read the book earlier and begged to read the last chapter as her version had been purchased in the US. I think the final chapter is necessary, but you're absolutely right that it cuts some of the impact of the violence. I have no intention of ever watching the movie. I can't imagine actually seeing the crimes described.

That is super disturbing. I had heard of this movie/book and thought I would get around to watching it or reading it. Thank you for your review, I will skip this particular story. PS. I love when you say wee nipper, it always makes me smile.

I saw the movie and it was...an experience to say the least. Not a badly done movie but definitely not my cup of tea. It was an intense one to get through and once done I kinda resolved never to see it again. It's just too intense and shocking for me.

You complain about multi-minute scenes of people just signing documents, Dom, and all I can think is, has someone commissioned you to do 2001, yet? (Of course, whether 2001 qualifies is a debate in an of itself. But probably you should consider "The Sentinel" the original, even if Arthur C. Clark didn't agree.)

Nowhere Girl

Is this a reupload? I remember watching this video before...

Reagarding the trigger warnings : I 100% agree that they are real and useful and I applaud you using them. Movies & TV have done a similar thing in their ratings systems (In the states at least). They have expanded them from simple letter grades to more detailed disclosures and viewer discretion messages. I imagine at some point in the evolution of internet videos a similar system may one day be in place where there can be standardized brief messages creators can insert in their videos at the start. Either way. Keep up the fantastic work!!
