Cobra by Timothy Zahn, a **BOOK** by Dominic Noble? Just what are you claiming, Good Sir?

You might want to add "review" after "book." ;-) Love ya, dude.

I think it's in the pinkie because if it was in the index finger, one might get accidental shots when one just wanted to point at something.

MY SECOND ALL TIME FAVORITE AUTHOR! - and the series I never actually read =_=

I am on book 3 of the second trilogy, the Cobra War Trilogy. These three books took a very different approach as the start of book one sets up the storylines for all the protagonists (still members of the Moreau family), but then they are all scattered and the three stories take place roughly concurrently on three different planets

I really like how the moon just creeps into frame, wonders through, and leaves with no comment

Are you referencing The Dear Hunter as in the band which tells an epic tale over 5 albums? (Please say yes).

Well, I have a new book series to read. and a new shirt to track down for my family.

Huh. I had no idea Zahn wrote this particular book series twice. Okay, not really - but the Blackcollar books have some striking similarities - they're about supersoldiers who became that way because of a drug, not cybernetic enhancements, and humanity at the start of the books isn't fighting against the aliens, but has already lost, but still, I thought this might be the same books until I realized the aliens had a different name (I've read Blackcollar, but not Cobra).

I would really love to see an ongoing series like this based around the Diskworld novels
