Well... actually Most stars we can see from earth have died millions of years ago, they are judt so far away their light is still reaching us decades after their death (Thought yall might like this useless info x3)

I know, but that's from earth's perspective~ since for example, Alpha Centauri A is 4.3 light years away, which means it'd take about 4.3 years to travel there at light speed. And same back to earth, so basically if you're already at Alpha Centauri A, you'd see Earth how it was 4.3 years ago. Which means the Alpha Centauri A can see 4.3 Earth years into the future. (I'm so sorry if I got anything wrong xD)
