Zootopia Art - Update #3 (Patreon)

So I'm on value shading part, turns out... I need to study Value more to get it right, so I'll have to put the Zootopia art project to the side temporarily while practicing value shading and try to understand how it works and how to do it properly.

I'm not quitting the project, I want it to be perfect so I am gonna put time into studying things I didn't knew before which will help improve future art alot and make things easier!

I hope you guys will have patience, I'll try keep updates coming about my lesson in this topic!

For now, I finally know the meaning of the word "Value", something I had no idea it existed or was a thing until now.

So I'll give you guys other art that has value shading practice in it, it'll be interesting I think!

And alot of new things for me to learn. I hope you guys are with me on this, I'm really sorry the zootopia art project is gonna take a little longer than expected, I just want it to be as close as possible to the actual movie itself, just like I rendered the Bodi art where he was caught, but I didn't render that properly like a professional artist would, I admit.

But that'll change, anyways thank you guys for your incredible support, I'll try feed you guys other art temporarily so you guys don't go empty handed until the Zootopia art piece is finished.

I understand, its good that you want to do it right and learn rather then just put it out. just a thought maybe you should still give us the full sketch that you have done so far because i feel people will be just as excited to see the full finished version even after seeing the sketch unless you really want to make it a fully finished suprise.

I do want to show it but the idea, concept is really important because it shows so much emotions and alot is going on in the picture, and there are people who put patreon only posts in public, but I guess I could watermark it and upload it, just when I upload it I get the feeling like "they've already seen the concept" so I don't feel as motivated to like finish it as quickly because people have already seen it and know what's coming, but as you're saying, the finished product might be just as exciting ^^
