Ashley Graham - On the Barrel (Patreon)

OK so I sort of ignored the results of the poll, only in as much as it didn't seem appropriate to dive straight into peril before we'd been properly introduced.

Resident Evil 4 Remake is the gaming event of 2023 so far, and is a recreation of a 2005 original. You don't have to buy either game to appreciate its aesthetic as full playthroughs of both are available on Youtube.

In RE4 Remake, Leon, the protagonist has to rescue the President's daughter Ashley.  For some reason she is in Spain and has been kidnapped by a cult of weird monk-types who want to insert parasites into people and take over the world.  In the game, Ashley is assigned the codename 'Baby Eagle' and your job is to extract her safely from some quite hellish perils.

For the modern remake, the developers used a real life model as the base for Ashley's body and face and by God did they choose well.  She's super cute and demure and presents as an idealised damsel in distress.  This game probably wouldn't have been made in this dreary progressive era had it not been a remake of an already successful blockbuster.

During the game, the bond between Leon and Ashley develops and there is some quite sweet low-key flirting between them.  In one scene, there's a shooting range where you can develop your marksmanship skills, and Ashley perches herself on a barrel and provides a running commentary. Perils of Dawn drew my attention to this scene and we worked on recreating it over a screen share for several hours.  This is therefore a joint effort.  PoD is developing an epic picture story for Ashley right now and I heartily recommend you subscribe to his Patreon www.patreon.com/perilsofdawn if you are a fan of all things Ashley.

About Ashley's outfit, it has several layers including the cute oversized coat and boots.  The original had her in a skirt but the remake goes for a slightly more conservative 'skort'.  I've applied my own tweaks to Ashley, her hair, and her outfit and have replaced the tank top and skort models with something very similar but better, while keeping very much in line with the original aesthetic.  Hope you like, and the peril will follow.

Renders 2-5 are in super HD, the first one is just in the normal 4k but after doing that I thought she was worthy of scaling up.  Do make sure to zoom in and enjoy the detail.
