What can I say?

So, as per the rewards, I owe you a guide to getting started in 3D.

Patreon has a choice of text or image posts and I think this one I am going to do as a text post with clickable links.

Give me a couple of days and I will write something up.  Then I hope a few more of you will be inclined to try 3D art-making out for yourselves.  I know I have managed to get a couple of friends and fans like Perils Of Dawn and Ultimate Clash started, and you only have to look at deviantART for the great stuff they are posting now.

Right now I have to plan out the posts for the month.  This month I will mainly be posting a random assortment of things to give a flavour of what I have in store and continue to produce.  Then in future I may move to posting sequences of pics that flow from one to the next.  I have quite a few like this. It might mean an image from the set every 1-2 days over a week or two.

Please all use the Community thingy.  Feel free to post in there to maybe introduce yourself and say what you're hoping to see or who are your favourite characters.  I guess at this stage almost everyone has come from deviantART so don't be shy, why not make a short post in there giving your dA username so we can pick up where we left off?

Key thing is that you guys are THE community now: deviantART with 4000+ watchers most of who silently click and consume is not the same thing.

Think of it like this.  For me, deviantART is like being on TV.  It's mainly one way.  Patreon is like playing on a small stage with all your fans around you in a circle. If something goes well, you hear the applause. If it's bad you hear the boos (i.e. people stop subscribing!)  So, let's be a community, and I hope some bold individuals among you are able to start talking  not just to me, but to each other!

Last thing.  I am still learning my way around this site and how it works. It's very different to deviantART, simpler and cleaner, but there are some things I haven't worked out how to do yet.  For example, I was looking for a journal button or blog or something, and I also found I couldn't make a post in the Community tab (on my own page??) then it dawned on me that I just have to do a POST, which is in fact this post.  Anyway, I'm asking for your help in working out how this site works.  Please send me any suggestions either in the comments below or by sending a private message.  You did know that you can send private messages, right?  Hover your mouse over your avatar in the top right of the screen.
