G8F - Unconscious Pose Pack 1 Now Available (Patreon)

At last something to celebrate in 2022!

This has been a long time in the making, and even longer in the waiting.  I am now in my second year of using Daz Studio 4, and have converted/recreated most of my main characters in Genesis 8 Female form.  I am now using the G8F model almost exclusively and have been building up a portfolio of Genesis 8 Female poses, many of which I have used in my artwork here on Patreon.

My Victoria 4 pose packs sold to over 100 people over the last decade, and hopefully those who have used them still recognise the effort and precision put into each one.  I work mainly off photographic and video references to create realistic yet attractive posing.  Whether your Genesis 8 Female characters are simply tired, or knocked out, or worse, these will do the trick!  You will not find unrealistic limb bending, anti-gravity characters floating off the floor or body parts poking into the floor.  Everything down to the last finger bone is posed with thought and precision.  Many of these poses took me 3-4 hours to get right, and now I am ready to share them with YOU for use in your own 3D artwork.

This pack is double the size of the previous V4 packs and has thirty unique poses and the mirrors of each.  It's all you will need for your floored G8F scenes.

You will never find this pack on sale on daz3d.com or Renderosity.  Both these sites take a large cut and require you to set your pricing by the number of poses in your pack and not the quality.  This explains in part the fact that many pose makers just churn out several packs a month full of low quality poses that took a few minutes each to create.  I don't mean to run down the efforts of others but the poor quality of what's available is what caused me to start making my own poses in the first place.  And now here we are.

Q - Whats in the pack?

A - 30 poses, plus mirrors, making 60 in all, for use with Genesis 8 Female.  They will also work with Genesis 8.1 but not previous Genesis models.  You can see the poses in the thumbnails above.  There's a mixture of face up, face down and side-lying poses.  All poses locate your Genesis 8 Female at 0,0,0 co-ordinates.  They will not change the scale of your G8F, or any morphs or facial expressions.

Q - How do I get hold of these poses today?

A - Send me a private message here on Patreon to get the 20% discount.  You will need a Paypal account and an email address.  When I receive $24 payment I will email you the pack immediately.  I will be checking both sites' inboxes frequently over the coming days so you shouldn't have to wait long.

Q - How do I install the pack?

A - It's very easy.  The zip file will come with the correct structure.  You just select the 'People' folder and drag it onto 'My Daz 3D Library' in File Explorer.  The full path of the folder is My Daz 3D Library/People/Genesis 8 Female/Poses/Torqual3d/Unconscious Pose Pack 1

Q - $30 is quite expensive bro.  Don't you know there's a cost of living crisis?  What makes you think you can charge so much?

A - Save up.  My pricing per pose has not changed in nearly a decade.  I need to pay my bills too.  Creating the pack took over 100 hours of work.  What sort of hourly rate do you think I should accept?

Q - I am your best friend/cousin/sister/co-worker/psychotherapist OR I saved you from a burning car - we go way back. Can I have the pack for free?  I assume that other people have to pay but surely that doesn't include me, right?

A - Don't ask please.

Q - Do any of the poses require limits to be turned off on my G8F?

A - No!  All poses work within the figure limits, as Genesis 8 Female is a far superior and more flexible/realistic lady than Victoria 4.  You should not be getting the 'Pose exceeds limits' prompt at all.

Q - I used your poses and my Genesis 8 Female is floating or cutting the floor!

A - Please be aware that all poses are designed precisely around the base Genesis 8 Female model at 100% scale.  Many commercial characters you install include optional body morphs that can change the proportions of your G8F.  Certain morphs (such as Legs Length) are badly designed and can raise the hips of your character without you realising.  It is not possible to design poses around so many variables, so you may need to adjust in such cases.  Also be aware that some scene props have floors that are above 0 height.  You will need to move your character upwards to suit.  Finally, all 60 poses are based around flat/bare feet and some may need tweaking for heels.

Q - Are you planning any more Pose Packs in the near future?

A - Yes, if this one sells like the old ones did there may be a Pack 2 next year and/or some multi-character packs before that.  The most-requested poses involve cloths and carrying.  I already made a bunch of those, so work has begun.

Q - Can I still get hold of the old V4 packs and is there any discount?

A - Yes, any or all of the old packs are available for $10 each or $30 if you buy all five of them on the same day.

Q - Are there any restrictions on how I use the pose pack?

A - NONE AT ALL. If you have paid for it then feel free to use for whatever you like, including your own commercial projects. Of course, I will appreciate greatly if you choose to credit me for the pose and link back. I keep a collection of good art using my poses in here.
