The long-awaited return of Penelope (Patreon)

OK so here's what happened.

You voted for Jennifer to meet up with some Amazons (still can't believe the snake didn't win!)

As usual you voted for the images that are most work for me to create :P

Anyway, this resulted in me doing a lot of searching for models, hair and outfits that might look good.  As sometimes happens, this sent me off in a completely different tangent.  I have folders where I bookmark models, hair, clothes etc that might suit specific characters, including the ones I haven't (re)made yet.  This includes Kat, Hannah and Penelope.

The tipping point came when I stumbled across a bodysuit which, with some modifications, would perfectly work for Black Arrow.  So I had to buy it and try it and the most simple way was to actually make Penelope herself in Genesis 8 Female version.  At first I was doing a quick mockup to test the outfit but very quickly I got sucked into the task and now I have a new version Penelope II that is about 95% finished.

As normal I am extremely nervous about launching/re-launching characters because I know some of them have a devoted fanbase and some people subscribed to this Patreon specifically to see more of one character.

Given that Penelope is pretty much my #2 character behind you-know-who it is criminal really that I've had Daz 4 for 18 months and not made her yet.  Penelope actually won the 'who should I make next' poll ahead of Ciara last Autumn but I was already well into making Ciara.  Part of the problem with these character launches is not wanting to do a mistake or a bad version that people don't take to and ends up as an embarassment that I want to delete.

Anyway I think Penelope is ready and I might post something later.  This has occupied me quite a few days which is why I haven't posted anything.  But it's getting to the end of the month and the time when people are considering whether they can afford another $4.15, so she needs to come out of the shadows and earn her keep.

I hope you like what I have done and can be a little patient as she is still a work in progress and I am still tweaking her appearance.  I only have one outfit for her which is of course her Black Arrow outfit but I can assure you that she will be wearing sharp business suits and sweater dresses in a short time.

Now about where this pleasant distraction leaves the new CYOA and Jungle Jennifer, it may distract for a few weeks but please do not expect that project to be abandoned.  It's a long-term one that I will keep coming back to.  I know I promise a lot and sometimes feel like I don't deliver but I did give you a 90,000 word CYOA before for Young Amanda and I shall be doing it again for Jennifer.

Look out later today and/or over the weekend for the re-emergence of everyone's favourite Hitchcock Blonde.
