Hello. just a very quick update on what I have been doing with Ciara.  Like you (I guess) I am impatient to see her modelling with Amanda, exploring Egyptian Tombs and fighting gangs of petty criminals.  However I need to get her outfits all finalized first.  This means yet more studio renders with this green and red background you're probably sick of by now.

In the last week I have tried out six different sweaters, three more skirts, three or four pairs of thigh boots, and at the moment I am going through all the pairs of sandals I can find for G8F.  Because I didn't have anything close to the array of clothing available for G8F as I previously did for Victoria 4 (I started again from scratch earlier this year remember) this is an exercise in approximately doubling the amount of 3D content I have loaded into my Runtime.  Each time I settle on a slightly better model for an outfit component then it gets to a more rounded Ciara.  Just to explain, a lot of outfits look great in simple standing up poses but they don't deform very well when limbs are bent to extremes, or they don't look good in lying down poses.  So every piece I add to Ciara's repetoire needs testing in a variety of poses and in combination with various other bits.  In the process of testing and discounting some things, I am stacking away bits that I could potentially use for Amanda, or Penelope when I make her.

This sweater is one of two I have settled on.  I had to make a custom texture for it.  What's great is that the hem line and neck line are adjustable and the sleeves roll up.  I am pretty sure I have tested all the possible shorts (she has four pairs) and also thigh boots - these black ones are her alt pair to run alongside the outrageous green ones.  As previously mentioned I have settled on two hair styles - the V4 one and the pony tail.  So I am nearly there.  Ciara needs accessories (backpack, revolver, gloves, flashlight, maybe some belts) and soon she will be ready for adventure.  I have some ambitious ideas featuring some amazing Daz 4 locations but, before I invested a lot of time in making a story, I wanted to get her appearance absolutely 100%.  Often I look back on 'Ciara's Egyptain Nightmare' and wish I had used different shorts, sandals, pantyhose etc.

Sorry for the long-winded explanation, just to say that I am putting in several hours a day even if you don't see the output.  I would like to create something iconic... you guys deserve it.  But there is a process to follow first.

" Just to explain, a lot of outfits look great in simple standing up poses but they don't deform very well when limbs are bent to extremes, or they don't look good in lying down poses. " - Yes, I can certainly see how that could be an issue for all of your ladies... they do spend a lot of their time in, shall we say, awkward positions! ;-) I have great love for "Ciara's Egyptian Nightmare" and the new Ciara would be fantastic in similar setting/action. I'd certainly love to see this one dangling from the mummy's cold grip!
