Well the clocks just changed today, so it's that time of year where the bare midriffs are put away underneath turtlenecks and the hot pants give way to smart skirts.

Just an update on the CYOA, this is being worked on in fits and starts but, since the last update to you, I added around ten thousand words to bring the current count to 55,071.  I am hoping to get the third of four areas completed this week.  I realise how long you have been waiting for this, but it's now quite a large and epic story that features a shit ton of options and not just narrow routes down specific predefined endings.  I want to give you all the chance really to make the decisions for Amanda based on what makes sense, though obviously some slightly more dumb choices are offered for people who want to lead her straight into trouble.  It's a hard adventure and will take a lot to solve it.

I had a look at some of the original classic Amanda CYOAs written by Perils of Dawn, Ultimate Clash and Mosby.  These are around 20,000-30,000 words in length, so it gives you an idea of the scale and depth of this adventure.  Obviously with me writing it, I want to get more into Amanda's character and background than maybe another author would be able to.

Thanks for your continued patience and please be assured that the CYOA is my top priority, and it will never be abandoned like Penelope Working Late or Young Amanda - Night Investigation (though I hope to come back to the latter, in time).  It's mainly a case of finding time at the moment and not pushing myself to keep working on the PC if my eyes get bad and I start to get a headache.  Anyway, more to follow soon.  Thanks as always for being the best patrons on Patreon!
