Short explanation: 'Adult Amanda' set to join Gwen in fantasy setting(?)

Right now that's the short explanation out of the way, here is the story for those of you who want to follow it.

Before I had Daz Studio I used to make my characters in other things: The Sims 3, and Guild Wars.  Both games allowed a huge amount of character and outfit customisation, plus a bit of peril... so I was pretty happy!  Prototype versions of Amanda and Ciara existed in both games.

Amanda's alter ago (though she had a different name) looked like this:

She was a 'Mesmer' which is a kind of clever wizard.  Mesmers had all the sexiest outfits, which was the main attraction of the game (almost NO-ONE played as a male character!)

Now, the main reason I was drawn to Guild Wars was that I saw these posters:

I saw those and bought the game.

3,000 hours of game play later, I was ready for Daz Studio.

Amanda now 'exists' in various 3D versions and I have already explored many paths with her and grown her as a result of collaboration and interaction with a loyal group of followers (you!).

But what I haven't done is to take her back into that fantasy setting.

It seems that Gwen is all alone with that Necromancer and needs some help... maybe from a friendly wizard that can hand Violetta a can of whoop ass.

So I had the problematic but inevitable idea of trying to bring Amanda across the void.  The idea is problematic because I have worked hard to ground her in the real world and it's messy to do other things with her.  And yet, I had 'Adult Amanda' sitting in limbo after she was abandoned in favour of a completely new model.  And Adult Amanda suits the Guild Wars heritage best of all her incarnations, in her appearance, in her style & hair, and her maturity.  It seemed a waste never to do anything again with Adult Amanda, especially as some of you were saying she was your favourite version.  So, just as the previous model wouldn't stay away and came back as Teen Rebel Amanda, now Adult Amanda is coming back as... well... Fantasy Amanda?  I don't even know whether I should call her Amanda or the name I gave her in GW.

I know.  It's enough to give us all a headache but particularly me.

And she has green eyes now.

But it can lead to some nice pictures.  And Gwen will surely appreciate the help.

I have thrown together this wallpaper in tribute to the game that started it off and for three years was Amanda's home, pre Daz Studio.  It feels like I have closed a giant 10 year circle.

It's a 1920x1080 wallpaper and I don't mind if no-one uses it however I would be thrilled if anyone did?

I next need to finish the lower half of Fantasy... erm... Amanda's outfit. Got a lot of work to do.  And she probably needs a long coat.  Especially as winter is coming.  Oh wait that's G.O.T. not Guild Wars.

I am going to stop there.

Love the wallpaper T3D and the history behind it was great as well. Sounds like a fun game and love the design you came up with it for Fantasy Amanda. I do hope you continue to develop this lovely magician no matter her name, Gwen definitely could use some help. Awesome work!

I am thinking of having her as quite a powerful character and not a victim - we have seen that quite often enough. She is Adult Amanda now.

I will admit, I never played Guild Wars. WOW was always my MMO, until I dabbled with Rift, and eventually SW:TOR. You know how I feel about Amanda, so to have her looking THIS amazing is really something special. Her outfit is gorgeous and her hair really does suit her, and the earrings are a nice little touch. BUT..... I am mesmerised (so very sorry) by those eyes. Absolutely pulled in, like putty in her hands. Hook, line, sinker, rod and copy of Angling Times!

He he, I am also loving the green eyes. It does indeed make her a different character.
