Hannah - Celtic Warrior (Patreon)

This was a request from Christoph Mergler who wanted to see Hannah in a historical setting.  The initial brief was 'Shieldmaiden' and the reference supplied was a bit.... Viking or Anglo Saxon.  After talking I proposed to make this a Celtic Warrior picture in line with Hannah's Irish heritage.  So, here is what she would have looked like in The Dark Ages.

This was an exceptionally difficult request and I don't mind saying so, simply because none of the clothes and equipment existed how I wanted it.  There was a fair bit for Genesis/Daz Studio 4 but because Hannah is a V4 girl I had some limitations from the start.  I had to custom make the chain mail shirt, the shield, and her tartan wrap all using Torqual3D magic and home made textures.  I prayed to the druids and they helped!  I looked at the available swords and none was right so I went for this authentic axe which I believe suits her better. Having spent this long I decided that Hannah needed a stone circle on a cold, windswept moor.  I wanted to create the feeling that the rain might lash down in her face at any moment, mingled with your blood as she hacks you to death!!

Sorry to the other people who have been waiting for requests.... this one slipped from casual fun into an art piece.  To say I spent many days on this was not an exaggeration, but sometimes it's fun to push yourself and enjoy doing something different.  Christoph has agreed kindly that I can also post this on deviantART some time in the future.
