About Video Quality:

Standard Quality (Iwara)                     : 10-15 Mbps
High Quality (Ecchi, Mainframe)      : 20-45 Mbps
4K & Ultra Quality (MegaStar)          : 60-200 Mbps

Some older content is only available in standard quality since it was made for Iwara, newer content will be available in higher tier quality as well.

When it comes to quality, bitrate is often more important than resolution.

In my videos I often use soft lighting and fog with lightrays, which gets demolished by lower bitrate compression - higher resolution will not help much and banding will be visible.
For this reason 2K at a higher bitrate is the best option.

The resolution I aim for at this point is around 2560x1440 high bitrate, at 60-120 fps.
Some videos may have different aspect ratios, some are widescreen, some are vertical.

About 4K:

4K resolution may not be available for every video, but reserved for special productions, such as full length dance track videos. 

4K at higher bitrates can take up a lot of storage space, typically 3-7 Gb per song.
