It was explained in this chapter that he has vowed to protect the academy and something about neutrality and abstaining from wars.

I do find this chapter fun, I do wonder what the heck were you trying to fit in this chapter? On the other hand, I hope when Valda does wake up from her assumptions, she does accept Salvos for who she is and not what she dreams. I found it sad and annoying how she never ask Salvos if she is a [hero] or not.

I think Clayton repaired or almost repaired the breastplate. Also, I believe the students will decide to go to the war so Headmaster will have to participate to protect them.

Yeah and it’s also said in this chapter how the entire human realm is under attack, you’d think that’d be enough to try stopping the Hellprince or at the very LEAST the ritual that could tear apart the fabric of their world

Let's not forget what the Witch from the beastman plains told Salvos. Melissa the Oracle of Light is possibly still alive. Since, ya know, she knows all about sacrificing thousands of lives to increase her own. And now a Skill, Dispel Magic, links her to Clayton. Just a thought. Damn, do I love these chapters!!
