Crazy Month Update (Patreon)

Hey guys. Just wanted to write up a small update on me and give my e̶x̶c̶u̶s̶e̶  reason for why art was so slow this month.

So, two things happened to me that needed my full attention. One was that my apartment complex told me that my lease was about to expire and if I wanted to renew I was going to have to pay at least 100 bucks more a month. I can’t really afford that, so I needed to start looking for a new place to live. I thought this would be easy, but it turns out, thanks to everything that happened this year, finding cheap places to rent is impossible!

The second thing that happened was my mother’s dog got bone cancer and had to have his leg removed. She called me about it and asked if I would come down to help her take care of him since she lives alone and works 40+ hours a week. I agreed to help and moved in with her in order to take care of him. I took my computer with me so I could do art while I was there, but I underestimated how much work taking care of him was going to be.

The poor guy was constantly in pain and would never sleep, which meant we never slept. We constantly had to monitor him and clean his wound since it was oozing all over the place and could get infected. The oozing also meant we were constantly cleaning the house as well, especially since his favorite place to lay down was on all of our beds. It took a lot of care and attention, but he’s finally getting back to his old self again. It only took several surgeries and a bunch of meds, but he's happy as a three legged dog could be at the moment!

In conclusion, this month really sucked! But in a few days I will be back to my old place, which means I should have more time to actually do some fun artz.

Anyways! I am sorry about how lame I’ve been, but as soon as all this stuff is sorted out, the fun art times will flow again!
