Comic Update and Future Plans! (Patreon)

Hey all! I wanted to take a moment to give you guys an update on my situation and plans moving forward. So as you all know, Rainbow Dash and Bow won the comic vote and that is what I will be working on next after one last small project, but before I do that I have to write out a short script for it and plan out the pages which might take a little while. I know some artists just go with the flow when it comes to comics, but I need to plan ahead with my stuff. It’s just how I work. But, because I know the preplanning is going to take a little work, I asked for 12 days off from my day job. So I will be working on the comic that whole time. That will be in about 4 days from now, so I should have a script for you guys to read and give me some feedback and also some sketches for the pages during that time.

I’m actually really excited to do this and I hope you guys like the end product. But! Before that, since we still have some time before my time off comes, I want to try and do one more little project for Halloween. I have a plan for it and it's something that a lot of you have been asking me for. Plus this will also be a good opportunity for me to switch over to a new program. SAI really sucks for making comics, so I am going to teach myself Clip Studio and see if that makes my life a little easier. I know a lot of artists say it's nice, so this next little piece I will do will help me learn it. The goal is to have it done by Halloween night, but we will see how well that goes. My boss at my day job has been giving me a lot of closing shifts and that has been slowing my work flow down a lot sadly...

So, to sum it all up, my next project will be a Halloween themed piece to help me learn how to use Clip Studio. Then I will start to work on the comic script and comic page sketches once I have your guys’ input. Hopefully all that won’t take more than a few days, then I can start the heavy work of finalizing the pages.
