Hey, everyone! This cycle is going slowly, so there's not a lot to report. I don't like mapping but I do it, etc etc. Since I anticipated that might be the case this week, I planned to have something else to show you that's more interesting.

Attached you'll find a piece of Metroid fanfiction I wrote. Technically this was a gift for Nomo, but I should probably be thanking him for giving me a reason to write something just for fun. I don't think it requires too much knowledge of Metroid canon; it's silly and flagrantly breaks the fourth wall. Quite a bit of sex writing, though, I hope you guys enjoy it while you wait for the next version.

In adult gaming news, have you guys heard about Kimochi? I won't introduce it too much here, but it's a new site for crowdfunding adult games. I'll link you to it via Ironstrom's campaign, since he has been a good industry contact for me and asked for support:

I wish them all the best, as I think this platform will be good for the community. I will probably end up putting something there eventually, as I know I have an audience that likes my work but is fundamentally opposed to the Patreon model. You guys would get the equivalent campaign rewards, of course. That's a future concern, though, for now I need to focus.

Hopefully next week I will have good news and maybe even a release date for TLS 0.24.0. See you then!

Didn't Kimochi used to have a Steam-like platform for adult games?

That's correct. They ran their platform for a while, but couldn't turn a profit and had to close. Nutaku bought them out to acquire what they'd done, but (and beyond this point is just speculation) felt that the adult game community couldn't support a Steam-like platform yet and instead remade Kimochi into a crowdfunding site. It's worth noting that the new Kimochi is being intentionally operated at a loss: it doesn't take a profit from any projects. That means creators get 90% of the funds or so, after payment processor fees. This would be good for the community, I think, as we shouldn't rely too much on Patreon.

Haha, funny you should mention that campaign. I backed them for the reward of getting both games when they are released, and I did that yesterday. So it's kinda funny to see you supporting them by giving a shout out :P

I was a Kimochi user for a while even promoted several games if I saw some one interesting in one of the games I knew off or gave some suggestion :) even promoted Overwhored several times and "The Last Sovereign" Personally I do not know if it good or bad that it was bought out buy Nutaku but I know I was one of them that suggesting ot find strong patners that could help them. And well Nutaku has the connections inside of Japan which was something Kimochi could not get yet at the time :)

That ... was ... freaking awesome! I especially liked how you threw me for a loop in the bar scene wih the aphrodisiac, I was not expecting that, but it was a very fun read. Thank You!

Very enjoyable , loved the way that Samus basically took control of the tone and setting so that even if she was losing control, it was still on her terms. The only writing critique I will give is that the actual smut scenes could use more physical and vivid descriptions. You have a good style but its almost...distant in this case compared to say the Bleach story you wrote for Nomo if that makes any sense?
