There's more fanart waiting, but instead this week is a comic from me. For those concerned about canon, this takes place after the game: magic capable of doing this is not available during the time of the game. Originally I planned to do this comic later, but I commissioned it early to cheer myself up. Hopefully it will amuse people.

Anyway, I had a scattered week. What does that mean in practical terms? Let me actually go into more detail.

1) Business junk. Not the fun spreadsheets, but invoicing and personal matters and random stuff I've put off.

2) Forced some promotion. If I feel blah anyway, might as well do some of it. Unsure how much effect it had, but at least the recent release wasn't half-assed.

3) Got really invested in certain scifi concepts for some reason and spend half a day doing research. I have some much clearer ideas about what tech would be best for my hypothetical upcoming science fiction game, though I still have no idea about the gameplay genre.

4) I thought that writing a novel would be a good palette cleanser, but it's not flowing. Writing TLS sex scenes ahead of time is one of my indulgences, and that isn't working either. I might not write any prose at all during this period.

5) I have a partial build of something that doesn't make any sense, career-wise, but I've always sort of wanted to try to design. This was probably the worst use of my time, yet I still sometimes get inspiration for it.

6) Functional build of a satirical idle game. I've never really played these before, but I've been trying low energy activities lately. This one probably wouldn't ever be sold, but it could actually become a finished thing to... maybe amuse people, I guess.

7) Chunk of a hypothetical management game I've often felt like doing but always restrained myself previously. This one could actually become a finished product, and one that I think a lot of patrons here would really enjoy, but instead of building up momentum I get tapped out.

8) Played some of the games I own and neglect. I value games, so I don't exactly feel guilty about this and I'm glad to finally try some games that have been on my backlog. But some of this also just feels blah: just getting by instead of spending time on something I enjoy.

9) Prepping for book releases. Even though the writing is done, with two ebooks and an audiobook scheduled, I still need to manage a wide variety of details.

10) Writing this whole post instead of something shorter.

Anyway, that is the current state of things. Hopefully I will get back on track and some of this stuff will eventually be content for all of you to look at. Believe me, I wish it was different more than anyone.
