All feedback welcome, as usual! One thing I'd like to hear from people, however, is how much ProN they have and who they have maxed or close to maxed. Just a straw poll for design purposes. I'd appreciate hearing from you even if you're not usually the commenting type.


First, I want to take a moment to thank all the people who helped make this update possible:

- Lone Wolf, without whom the replay system and most other custom coding would never have gotten finished.

- RCP, for producing a huge number of custom sprites and animations.

- Decanter, for solving the Support Slaves problem and noticing a lot of things I missed.

- Scrambler, both for his sprites and for his patience in waiting for them to be used at the right time.

- Nomo, for fixing graphical problems I have nowhere near the skill to do myself.


New features:

- Reunion chapter of the game.

- Four new plot sex scenes, three new affection sex scenes.

- Auto-dash. By default, you dash normally and walk with Shift, but you can switch it back to the original way in the...

- New options menu: control sound, screen color, text speed, and battle animations.

- Text skipping: press Ctrl to start skipping. Combined with text speed above, this can either progress dialogue steadily or fly through it.

- New save system (number of saves supported increased substantially). Old saves will not display correctly until resaved in the new version.


Changes to previous sections:

- Party members now show relationship points early on in Feroholm for the sake of consistency.

- Clocks on Simon's route now display your exact day number.

- Small stairs on Simon's route now clearly indicate whether they go up or down a floor.


Balance changes:

- Support Slaves now works as planned. It also gives the option to be named differently; players who have already obtained the skill can rename it if they use a save from the 0.14.x ending screen.

- Suppress Lust and Lust Renewal have been entirely rebalanced to better fall in line with the plot.

- TP gain has been standardized, removing several oversights.


Sex sprites:

- 24 new sex sprites added, bringing the total up to 39.

- There is now sprite sex in camp during the free roaming section in Chapter 2.

- The lovers in the Withered Fortress now have a sex animation.

- Aka's route now has a custom animation if you approach the Doomed King armor again.

- The Crimson Bordello trainers on Simon's route now have animations.

- All harem members have sprite sex on the bed in the new area.


Cosmetic changes:

- Altina's placeholder sprites have been replaced with custom sprites.

- New nude sprite for Yarra.

- Large music files replaced with much smaller formats.

- Fixes to Yarra's faces for art style consistency.


So yeah, I got it done in the end. ^-^ It wasn't forcing myself, I really love working on games.


However, I lacked time and saves to thoroughly test every possible combination of choices this route. The chance of something being broken is 99.9%. Save wisely.


You get your primary investment returns this chapter. I separated investments and returns so much because I wanted to show there are other benefits, so people just didn't choose the highest monetary returns as the "right" investments. You can pick up some investments you skipped before, but note that the results in the future may not be quite the same. Mercenaries in particular will behave differently depending on how long they've been with you.


Note that the game now has 39 sex animations total. I really doubt anyone is playing any game for tiny sprite sex, but I think people get attached to the little characters and having these animations helps fuse the game together into a more cohesive whole. This is what I was talking about last update, not full art (I somehow gave the wrong impression judging by the comments). Getting full CGs is still an open question.


Not sure what else to say. This week has been quite an emotional ride, hope everybody else is doing well and enjoys this reunion chapter.

Bug found, when going for the sex option for Carina, her "stats" of name, position and so on are still up and make the top part of the scene hard to read.

Found a bug from a loaded save, in the Empress's Palace, the stairs up to Nalili's room are invisible. They still work when I step on the correct square, but it looks like normal floor.

In mine junction during Aka's path, investment flunky (I coin the term :P ) is still there and says "you should have received your profits and Simon answers him.

This one's not a bug. He's supposed to be there so that you can invest in the mine if you didn't the first time. But if you already have, he doesn't have a lot to say.

Aramite clerk still isn't showing up, does talking to the guy who runs the tents there keep it from happening?

There's no way to keep him from showing up, but he won't appear until you've found out more info about him from someone else. If anybody else wants to confirm this, feel free, I'm short on time right now.

"I really doubt anyone is playing any game for tiny sprite sex" You might be surprised. People like humbird0 mostly make do with (ripped and edited!) sprites and prose, yet have a fair following. Imagination goes a long way, I guess. Anyway, glad to see this update, and pleasantly surprised to see some things I didn't think were coming. Look forward to playing when I get back to my computer.

Pretty much every time Naili talked to anyone was absolutely flawless. ...though I seem to remember Yarra or someone being able to tell Robin was a virgin at a glance. I can't help but think just how much more priceless it would've been if Naili noticed when she talked to Robin. Behold, culture shock.

When you go rest at the bed at Queen Janine's house, Simon somehow duplicates himself whilst giving the D. Also, sometimes one of the girl ends up bald on the bed and I don't remember recruiting anyone bald to my team. XD

Simon duplicating is a small oversight, but I can't figure out why some of the animations are broken. -_- Each animation has a full page of sprites, most of them unmodified, but you shouldn't see those.

When you are talking to Yarra, after talking with the Orc Breeder, Simon is wearing his green outfit in the dialogue picture, instead of his new black outfit.

Also, as my save was from the end of Simon's route, I just played through the Nalili/Simon/Empress sex scene again. I wonder, when you have characters say "outlandish" things that exasperate Simon, like "You belong in my pussy, and I can suck mom off in a nice wholesome way," do you have any particular person in mind? You seem to have entirely too much fun writing these lines! lol

Haha, nope, don't have anyone in mind. Succubi are usually written as sex demons that really only make sense in a human context, so my general goal is to write them as possessing their own worldview and seeing humans as the weird ones. It just gets fun when it's coming from someone without much cultural understanding like Nalili. XD

I'm replying Yarra's route in the newest version, and I can't seem to finish the Succubus Hunt. After the scene where it's revealed to be about hunting succubi, it goes back to Yarra, she says "Run!" and then the screen fades to black. I can open the menu, but nothing else happens. I did some digging and it sounds a little like the draconic succubus bug a lot of people reported, but I'm not sure if they're related. For one, it happened whether I fought the draconic succubus or avoided her, and I didn't have any dialogue popups either time. Has anyone else experienced this? Does anyone know how to avoid it?

It seems to be an issue with opening a text box at the same time the timer transitions. The draconic succubus triggered it a lot when she chased people, but it can still happen with anyone else. Do things work correctly if you just avoid talking to anyone at the 15:00 mark?

Okay, I found a bug on Simon's Path: the clocks and the day count are way off. I'm following the main walkthrough from the wiki at: <a href="http://thelastsovereign.wikia.com/wiki/Walkthrough" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">http://thelastsovereign.wikia.com/wiki/Walkthrough</a> Anyway, on the first three days looking at the dildo clock in the Empress's room tells me it's Day 0. Later, when I run down the list on the walkthrough for Day 8, I end up being off a few days on the clock compared to the actual timer that kicks in when I get close enough to Day 28. Could you check over this to make sure they're ticking off as they should? The system is great, it just looks like we might be missing a few flags for the days that automatically pass or the cot in the Empress's room.

my only trouble is right now with Yarra's path with the succubus hunt. When the REAL hunt begins and yarra says to run, it fades to black immediately and I'm not sure what to do. I can still pause the game as if it was still going but nothing but a black screen.

I have seen the post but it seems no matter what the bug is triggered. Whether I stand still, fight butterflies or succubi. I have not gone to the draconic succubi and or engaged the succubi group that stands near the entrance till you have more butterflies and the screen still goes black.

Okay! I have the succubus hunt bug fixed. I will put out an update much later today, so last call for any bugs other people notice. This one is mainly to test this and other game-breaking bugs, I will put out a 0.15.2 for the public version. Also, many thanks to all posting their numbers!

Very minor bug found. On Megail's route if you try and leave the Court District from the sides Simon's portrait appears and does the usual 'we shouldn't do that' message. Didn't test the other regions though.

In a new game(15.1) all characters seem to start at relationship 0. at least it displays this in the conversation before leaving Feroholm with the wagon. I will keep playing until Stineford to confirm this but it seems pretty pointless to continue since this will probably not be fixed without starting over again.

Update fixed whatever was going wrong with the Succubus hunt, so good news there. Minor bug found again, the clock in the Magic Room of The Empress's Palace doesn't work.

I decided to revisit Simon's Path and started trying to improve my conversation results. The economics succubi "I'll try even harder..." and the social succubi "Well, fuck me....", are these even possible without cheating your scores up? Pretty sure I've done all the investments and completed all the sidequests and I still can't seem to get them up to those levels. It doesn't seem like there's enough economic investments or social works investments to impress either them or the empress when she asks you your opinion on running an empire...

I am somewhat certain it's possible to get those results, but not completely. Doing sidequests and investments will get you part of the way, but how fast did you do the free roaming section of chapter 2? That's a fairly major component of the social score.

O~oh! I'll have to try a speed run of chapter 2 and see where I get, then. I had no idea that affected my hidden stat scores beyond the route planning succubus.

Feedback on the suppress lust changes in chapter 1: The Chimara battle actually feels a lot more like a boss battle now. Also, since I can't use my "Qum heals Simon twice to make him self-support more strategy" now that suppress lust costs 35, the Fell spider house ramped up in difficulty by quite a lot. It's still doable, it just cost me almost all my revival potions even with resting in the inn between fights. I find I'm using Suppress Lust now only in very long battles against enemies I can outlast with Hilstara taunting. Seems like it moved this more into the Heroic Imitation realm where I'm not really using it anymore.

I found a bit of a bug in Akas route in 15.0 im about to try it again in 15.1 but the route wont end. After completing the mine and the preparations and akas quest. I talk to janine but nothing happens. the quest flat out would not end

Asking this feels a bit like asking to go backstage so I can watch the magician shoving the doves up his sleeves, but do you plan on using a lot of the hidden variables more later on in the game. Thinking of things like the social or economic scores that have already been checked for certain events. I'm trying to decide how to update my walkthrough to reflect whether something needs to be done in a certain way for a certain outcome or if I tell people to just do the bare minimum somewhere and then go nuts exploring. I know there must be a best bang for your buck approach to Chapt 2. Will I ever be able to go back for Stark's head or the withered mountain troops? It seems like that would be the hardest cuts for me to make in my run, (I really like Altina, the synergy and Qum RP gains), but if I actually could do that, I can start weighing whether or not to do so.

Amazing amazing new content! Started over on 15.1 (playthrough... six, I think). Haven't even gotten to the branching paths yet, so the only thing I've noticed is that the visible Aka, Yarra, and Qum from Chapter 1 are still hanging around Feroholm in Chapter 2 with the same messages as at the start of the game. I reported this one on an earlier version, forgive me if I missed a response about it, but I've noticed that the text takes to writing the substance "cum" but the action "coming." Was that an intentional difference? I could imagine spellcheck being tricky about it, too.

Not everyone uses that standard, but for most written erotica "cum" is only a noun, not a verb. That's the standard I'm familiar with, so it's what I've used.

Okay, actually managed to break the game, but it's not a real major point. In my playthrough of Chapt 1, when going to Robin's room the first time, if I keep pressing enter to skip dialogue I can interrupt that scripted event just enough to cause a game lockup. Simon gets stuck in the bottom left corner of the room, and Robin gets stuck next to Mherin's bed. Since Robin was at a stop point after the next dialogue and couldn't progress up through Mherin's bed/nightstand, the game locked and I had to manually close it. This in turn gorked my game file enough that I had to reinstall. (But it did not affect my saves, so I only really lost 10 minutes). Not major, just thought I should warn you it was there.

A quick question. This is not new to 15, but I have noticed that Qum is immediately outside and able to talk about "wishing we had more sucubus friends" after the event with Carina in the ruins. None of the other party members are, though. Is she supposed to be outside already?

I'm aware, but I don't have an easy fix. If you have characters moving and talking, it will always be possible to screw up the sequence in some way.

Here's a small 15.1 bug. When you first enter the castle library at the beginning of Aka's route (being the first route chosen in this case), Robin speaks of a book that could help Aka without the topic having been approached at all yet, and she makes no comment when searching any of the shelves. Edit: I should note, this does not prevent you from getting the book later, so it's not exactly harmful, just a bit out of place. Also during Aka's route, the guards in the petition house acknowledge Aka leading the all-female coterie with "sir." Again, very tiny. Additionally in Aka's route, you can immediately travel to and from the Square Locations without first delivering the permission letters. Also, each time you leave House Rose (until you turn in their support, I imagine) you get the same discussion between Aka, Trin, and Robin.

Ah, saw your edit too late. The release is compiled with only the first of these problems fixed, but I'll get the others for next time.
