November 22 Update (Patreon)

I haven't been on Patreon a full year yet, but I have been making The Last Sovereign for that long. Some thoughts about that milestone on my blog:

Meanwhile, I'm deep into the next update. Unlike Yarra's route, where you couldn't miss anything important, on Simon's route there is nothing stopping you from squandering your limited time. People have strong opinions in both directions, but I think this was the right choice for both routes so I hope it balances out in the end.

I've been thinking about his route as a blend of all three. A time system like Yarra's, exploring a new area like Megail's, and going deeper on a single kingdom like Aka's. Those of you who have wanted more succubus lore, there's another library in this section that should make you happy.

I think I'll keep it short for now to try not to lose focus. If I want to make my informal deadline goal, I can't afford to waste any time.
