July 7 Update (Patreon)

The update is coming and it's substantial. It's difficult to estimate exactly how much time it will take players or how big it will feel, but in terms of the amount of work on my end, I think it at least rivals any other update I've ever put out. New screenshot from near the end.

This one is definitely going to take two weeks in beta. I want to emphasize that I really do my best to polish each update as I can. This time I counted while I was taking the content from "playable" to "first draft" and I made 253 fixes. Some of those are subjective improvements, but many were bugs or typos that you guys would have reported.

Would the update be more polished if I ran through it ten more times? Of course. But that, more than any amount of hard creative work, is what would lead to burnout. To do it properly and keep myself sane would add at least a week to each dev cycle, which I don't think is for the best. I hope this is a good balance.

Anyway, the update is coming. It has some of everything and I hope everyone will enjoy it. ^-^
