Windows Standalone (with VR mode) can be downloaded here (88 MB)

Note:
The VR mode (Oculus Rift DK2) is only accessible in the Standalone version, not in the web player version. (Requires Oculus Runtime V0.6.0.0)

It features the video playable in real-time 3D, in 3 different camera modes. (Regular camera, Marceline's view, and Finn's view)

However, this is a very early beta release. There's very little to see in it.

Fantastic work! Animations are so smooth, and those facial expressions... You really do know how to work it in whatever media you do. XD

I think I liked the original approach a little better, but this is still really cool in its own way, especially seeing it from the different viewpoints. Are there any secrets hidden in this release, or is it too early for anything like that?

^^ I tried with oculus (It's awosome to watch scene with differents characters. :)

Can you patch it so that the launcher has a "reset settings" option? I accidentally set it to VR mode and now the whole thing is too zoomed in for me to change it back =/

I never thought of this. I'm sorry for the inconvenience. I'm not sure when I can make an update of the beta to fix this, but if you like to reset the options today instead of waiting for an update, you can do so by doing it manually and access the Registry. (Registry is a really sensitive part of Windows. Use with caution) Instructions: Make sure the beta demo isn't running. Press Win [Windows key] + R on your keyboard. At the dialog box, type “regedit.exe” (without the quotes) and click OK. Click Yes in the UAC popup. Inside the Registry Editor, go to this location: "HKEY_CURRENT_USER>Software>Mike Inel>What If "Adventure Time" Was A 3D Anime" Open the folder and look for the item "OptionsVR_h(various numbers)". When you find this, right-click and choose "Delete". It will ask you to confirm, and click "Yes". You can now close the Registry Editor. Run the beta demo again and it should reset the VR option back to Off.

Thanks. There are no hidden secrets at this point, but there will be in the future.

Any way we can get the "old & no longer used" Marcelline model, I hate to see so much good work go wasted.

Mikeinel

I'm planning to share all of the 3D models (in .MAX (2013) format) once the entire project is done. But that might be after a month or so.
