I'm so tickled!!! I honestly didn't expect my first attempt to work out but IT DID!! I'm feeling a lot more confident about building this at full size with thicker EVA foam.

This is sort of just a 'basic form'. I'll use softer foam to build up more shapes and details on top of it. I'd also probably do some shaping with a heat gun, especially on his lower jaw and lips.
