With respect, the fridge seems out of proportion. It's too small. I'm 5'11". I just stood against my fridge which is the same general design as the one in your sketch and the top of the fridge is just above my eyebrows. I see your man as being around 5'8'' or 9'. If the fridge is bigger it will fix the problem that the handle being below his hand. You've drawn him right. If I stand like that my hand is about level with the top of the dor and will fix that mismatch. Great work, BTW.

There are many different sized fridges just like there are many different sized people. :) I am 6'11", so any fridge next to me is tiny. Just sayin. :D
