Okay, so I've been going back and forth on this as I write the story. This story was originally titled Blackthorn. But I went with Dragon's Archon because I felt that it was a better draw for readers. However, I was told by other authors that they don't think most people know what an Archon is, so this is me soliciting advice from you all.

I like both. Dragon's Archon has the draw of dragon in the title which will reflect from the cover being a dragon goddess. Blackthorn has the draw of being unique and a focus on Devon who is the MC along with the prophecy of the blackthorn that follows him on his journey. 

If you've been keeping up with the story thus far, let me know what you think between these two titles. If you have a suggestion that you think fits better, let me know.

“Blackthorn: The Dragon’s Archon” sounded like a good compromise in my head. Dunno if I really wanna see yet another litrpg where they squeeze it right in the title (even though I know why it’s done so often). But that’s just my thought 🙂

I'll be honest, I've seen the word "archon" used in a number of fantasy novels, but I don't know what it actually means. Usually I see it attached to the most powerful demons in a setting, usually some sort of leader as well, so from context I kinda just assumed it meant someone evil and powerful. I've been a bit busy lately so I've not actually been following what's going on with patreon lately, so I don't know what it means in your stories setting though.
