Weekly Update - Going Back to the Basics (Patreon)

Hey everyone! I hope you all had a good weekend. It's almost 3am here and I'm taking a short break of writing more Dragon's Archon to make sure I give you all an update. So let's jump right into it.

Writing Updated:
First things first, I want to talk about Supplying Supers launch. As of this moment, the book has not done as well as I had hoped. I did a lot of things with this book: The RR release, more side character POVs, etc. I'm not sure what exactly caused the book sales to not do so well, but it is what it is. Thankfully after Strength Unleashed's launch, I went into this one with low expectations so I'm not super bummed about it. The book did help bring a lot of patrons here, which I am very thankful for. I'm also hopeful that the audio does well.

So what does the above mean? As you can tell with me starting on a new series, that means I need to table it for now. Just like Strength Unleashed, I am going to shelve Supplying Supers to start Dragon's Archon and see if I can hit the same level of success as Warhawk's Amnesty. I'm not shooting for a top 500 book, but I am trying to rekindle that same success as Warhawk. That's my minimum benchmark. I know it's not the writing because both Strength Unleashed and Supplying Supers are both my best rated books from a raw score perspective. I'm also getting plenty of people shouting the book out on the various harem groups stating how much they enjoyed it. However, I believe both books just did not hit the core harem audience like I'd expected. I think in an effort of differentiating myself as an author, I strayed to far from what sells well in this genre, which is unfortunate.

So that's what Dragon's Archon is. I'm swapping back to fantasy. Swapping to 1st person pov. And keeping it mainly from the MC's POV. If I can hit the level of success with this one that I've hit with Warhawk, then it will give me some breathing room to swap back to Supplying Supers and Strength Unleashed to finish them out.

Art:
I'm bringing on June Art who is a new artist for me to do the cover of Dragon's Archon. I think she's going to do a great job and put together a fantastic cover of Heluna. Evul Art is still working on the new pinups. Those will be coming out later this year.

Audio:
Rebecca Woods is hard at work recording Supplying Supers. She's uploaded several chapters for me this past week and I've started QA'ing them. She's doing a phenomenal job with the characters and I can't wait for you all to listen.
