Weekly Update - Risks and Rewards (Patreon)

Hey all,

I hope you are having a great weekend. So far so good for me. It's been rather low key. I've been caring for a sick doggo who likely got into something she shouldn't have. It also snowed out of nowhere so we're all bundling inside trying to stay warm.

Writing Progress:
I'm 20k words into Warhawk 3. I'm hoping that now that I'm not deathly ill the chapters will start flowing more regularly. Tonight I'll be working on chapter 5. I hope you're enjoying the mess the crew is in so far :)

I've been continuing to monitor Strength Unleashed's progress. It's still been rather stagnant. I've commissioned a new art piece that I'm supposed to have by the end of next week. My plan is to recover the book, do some more posts, and then remarket it for the audiobook release once it's out. I hope that with a new cover + marketing from the audiobook, the series can be saved. If not, then it's going to have to get put on hiatus or more likely, shelved. I'd never planned to not finish a series, but as I told you all when I jumped to full time, if a series doesn't do well, I will have to make those hard decisions. While a bummer, if it does happen, I have some other great series planned that align with my other work. I've also learned the hard lesson to be more risk averse when it comes to the covers. Don't worry though. You'll still get beautiful monster girls from me :)

The Aspect The Complete Series is coming soon. I'll be bundling all 4 books and audiobooks into their own respective editions. I won't be adding extra content in them so don't worry about missing out on something if you've already bought the series. 

Thank you for everyone who voted for my post apoc book name poll. I'm going to keep The Queen's Jaeger for now. I've commissioned typography for that cover. I may sprinkle in some chapters here and there. It's one of those stories that just lingers in my brain that I need to get out.

Art:
Jclea is working on the new pinups for the end of the year which I teased earlier this week. Once she is done with that, I'll be commissioning her for the Aspect Complete Series cover. I still have a few covers pending for Supers Supplier and The Queen's Jaeger. Once those are done I'll share those with you.

Depending on how the recover and audiobook sales for Strength Unleashed turns out, I'm going to do another poll to choose between Blackthorn or Supers Supplier for the next series. (If you remember the prompt, you can comment down below which one you'd like to see instead!)

Audio:
Speaking of audio, April is going to be huge. Strength Unleashed is currently being recorded. My guess is it will be done in the next two-three weeks then 10 days for audible QA. Rebecca is scheduled to release Warhawk 2 and rerelease 1 in April, then schedule 3 once it's done. Then I'll have the Complete Series audio released as well. Hopefully that should help pad the war chest :)
