After conquering Aerlanthir, the home of the worldforge, Vatia is left with unchecked access to the planet’s source of magical artifacts.

With no time for respite, Tempest is called upon by one of the last gods remaining to stop the growing darkness building in Halairim. But before he can do that, Tempest will have to travel the world bringing his companions back together, rebuilding old alliances, and paying back old favors, for it will take more than one man to bring down an empire.
