Going into A Romp Across Iðna, did you have VAs in mind that you approached about certain voices, or was there a casting process?

Hey Miles! Great question. So when we initially started I did a casting call. Those that were with me from the start know how much of a nightmare that process was. The unfortunate thing about doing it this way, is it takes a lot of time, and you can't be sure of the quality of a person's audition going off of just a few lines. Even the people who have done a tone of VA work, had issues when it came to recording quality. The good/bad thing of NSFW VA work is the audience is very hungry but forgiving on crappy audio. Since we wanted this to be a high production value, we had to do recasts for a lot of people. I lost thousands of dollars in the process because, while they ultimately didn't work out, I still believe in paying everyone for their hard work. So we've had to do a lot of changes to our production process from when we started a few months ago. Now, I use my contacts in my community to make sure we're only reaching out to the best, and we reach out to performers for specifc roles if I think they would be a good fit. For example, I'll start working on episode 5's script next week. I've already reached out to IvyWilde who will be performing that role because she came highly recommended and is a well known performer.
