Small bugfix for a pretty spectacular issue, although only cosmetic...:
Also, several of you guys are reporting some other bugs (mostly cosmetic) that I can't reproduce. Which is bad, because you can't fix something you can't see, right?
Please, understand I totally believe you, ok? When I ask for screencaps and savegames from you, they're meant to help me troubleshoot the issue, not as proof of them being real. ^_^
However, even when I've tried multiple times, I wasn't able to get those bugs occurring in my setup.
So, my only option about this whole issue is to continue refining the code. It was something I'd do anyway, and maybe after that you'd stop having that weirdness happening.

Small experimental bugfix in the hopes of resolving some animation issues people are reporting, related to K's head pointing to wrong places during Cenvir and Vanlen scenes:
I'd appreciate if the people having those problems could confirm to me if they're solved or not, as I wasn't able to reproduce the thing in my computer.

Jan 28th 6:00pm (CEST): 0.6 release
Hi there people. Here's 0.6 in all its glory.
As mentioned before, this version should be the first of a series of monthly updates with less content than the previous ones you've experienced until now.
What you'll see here has been made in three weeks, and most of that time was spent on engine changes and troubleshooting those (necessary) modifications.
I believe this will be a better strategy overall, for a multitude of reasons. I always wanted to follow this schedule, but reality consistently hit me in the face... hard.
Now I have better knowledge and the engine is getting more solid with each refinement, so this is probably the first time in all these months that I have a chance of achieving a monthly release pattern.
If all goes according to plan, my monthly time would be spent like this...:
1 week for small content creation.
1 week for big content creation.
1 week for ongoing engine refinement.
1 week for testing & debugging.
This schedule would make possible to have regular small new events, while also working on big features that will be ready after some months.
Therefore, for 0.7 I'll add more brief events all the while I start on putting together the berry gathering task, which is obviously a much bigger thing that won't be completed in a heartbeat.
But, for now, here it is 0.6. Enjoy!

Added:
- Mechanic: K can take a bath at the waterfront now (once per day). Wash the pot once to unlock.
- Content: Two new events (first and repeating variation) for two NPCs, while bathing in the waterfront.
- Content: New Eri scene (pot wash fail). First and repeating variations.
- Graphics: Ripped outfits added to Status Screen.
- Graphics: Night sky for Nursery.
- Engine: Run toggle state is now stored in savegames.
- Engine: Animation Culling toggle (default: Enabled). Can be disabled in the Options Screen for troubleshooting purposes.
- Minor: Updated 'how to run' tip (when exiting K's room) with 'hold button to move'.
Changed:
- Engine: NPCs preloading re-enabled (slightly longer game startup).
- Engine: Most NPC state machines migrated to templates (way better asset management).
Fixed:
- Innacurate fade out/in after flagship room shower.
- The Ship and the Holocomputer won't scream 'Merry Christmas' anymore (LOL).
- Incorrect 'Zoom activated before time' warning during Gatekeeper intro scene.
- Intro scene in the guard's tent not progressing to the Chieftain's audience.
- Several objects (firepit/torches/etc) shown like at night time, if loading a Day 1 savegame.
- First pot dragging skipped to Galdryn directly (not intended).
- Not being able to end the day with Meiri, after having cleaned the pot that day.
- After you get to choose between Eri and Vanlen tasks, you could go to Eri and work for her first thing in the morning without going to Meiri first (not intended).
- NPCs "waking up" when entering their location.
- Nursery babies stop crying after loading from night to day.
Known issues (new):
- Chieftain Jakuul doesn't move during the Intro.
- K briefly flashes at the start of some animations.
