Days 3-4/20 to v0.1 (Patreon)

Hi there,
I didnt have a good day yesterday. As I mentioned in the previous post, my plan was to start coding the quest/tasks logic, which is probably the hardest thing about developing this game in its current state.
And dont get me wrong, I worked for all day long on that, accounting for 12 hours if Im not mistaken. But I got demoralized at the end due to some state machines I thought I got them working already since the demo. And then some personal shit hit me at the wrong time as well. ?
So that mix left me unwilling to write a third-day post report. Anything I would have said would have been pitiful and far from reality.
Truth is, this morning, with a more positive attitude and a fresh approach Ive fixed the issues so work could continue as normal if it werent for the cold Ive caught, courtesy of my toddler daughters, that is. ?
I dont know how many of you have children but, forget about any flu youve had in your life : toddlers colds are the worst variant of them all. You could have passed all your life just coughing a little when having a cold. That wont mean shit when your own blood passes on you their viruses. You will fall no matter how high and safe you thought yourself to be.
So, Ive taken a pill this morning that now, in its full effect, is leaving me lusting after my bed and its not even 22:00h.
This changes my working plan, of course. If this is just a cold without fever, Ill be able to work tomorrow taking another of those drone-making pills. And that situation, which is the best-case scenario, will leave me unable to work on quest coding. Ill need to switch to animation which is easier for my decimated neurons.
I wanted to give preference to the harder tasks first because doing things youre comfortable with is just another kind of procrastination. But I guess it cannot be helped. I just hope we can deliver the thing on time.
