Hello!!

Today I finished making Lana's skirt!!🙌🏻

The fabric used is the same as the old one, blue taffeta and the golden details are golden soft kaori synthetic leather with the old method of application with transfer adhesive.

I'm still thinking about whether or not to use the horsehair braid on the hem of the skirt to give more shape to the pleats like I did on Mami's skirt pleats, I don't know if this is good enough already, what do you think?🥺

Your skirt is so perfect 🥹💕 is it Only 2 layers of taffeta or are you using a third layer ? Because i dont understand how your pleated defeat gravity 🤭

Thank you so much! I'll do my best to explain!! haha Sooooo I used two layers of godets, one being the skirt and the other the lining. For the skirt I used both blue and white the taffeta fabric which is already quite thick and already helps with the volume, but as the golden details are very firm as they are made of leather, the blue part was easier to assemble since it has more details than in the white part, so for the lining I used the same taffeta fabric in the white area to be even more full-bodied and in the blue part I used a lighter fabric that was prada satin, so it evened out!!
