WELL!
In my first Zelda I made the accessory totally smooth!

However studying it well (concept art and game), I noticed that it has the same effect as the sandal, with small "tiles" in each line of the big diamond, I did the tests and now I have the big question of what to do!😢

i personally like option A more, it looks better and more like the in game option especially with how it hugs the hair

I feel like for accuracy B is definitely the one it looks really nice on the hair as well

While I prefer A because it fits the hair shape more, if you want that strict turn of color (especially because you went with the beautiful holographic effect), B might be a way to go. I have references too, and from it I personally feel like art=square, in game=round . But also if you can, it might be best to compare both shapes with that holographic color painted (the final look) 🙌

I would go with B! The colorshift will be nicer and I do love such accuracy to the reference 😍

In fact in the game it is like that, but you can't see it in detail because the game doesn't have anti-alising. But in the 3D model I could see that it is in fact like this. Here is an example of what I’m talking about, during the game, you don’t notice the “tiles” but you notice that it somehow has a straight line separating the two colors on each side, and it has the same effect on the piece that I did the test. So the conclusion is that it is like that too! http://layzemichelle.com.br/imgs-nuvem/Random/hair-accessory.png

Ooohhhhh!!! That looks amazing!! Yes the color shift is absolutely beautiful too! I simply thought the straight line was because of the strict light source, so this is interesting to know🙌 Thank you so much!!

I don't think that the color change is turn side, change color, I think it was just hardware limitation. I would go with A and do colors mix uneven.
