Diamond (Land of the Lustrous): Wig (FULL WIP and mini tutorial) (Patreon)

Hello Patrons!  Today I'm here to show you my progress of Diamond's Wig from Houseki no Kuni! (Land of the Lustrous)    

1: Let's see, I got two custom wigs for the character, but as you can see in the first picture it had a scarce amount of hair.    

2: So what I had to do was to unmount one unit entirely and sew the hair strands on the nape of the other wig, the secret was to sew it backwards, instead of using the strands going down, I sewed them going up, so when you release them they will go out forming a great volume!    

3: After you finish the hair,  it's time for the cellophane, the cellophane is a really fragile and slim sheet, any thing you do won it may damage it, so I used some transparent contact paper to make the sheet thicker!!     

4: In the last step, I used glue to joint the hair strands tips and with the same glue I sticked the cellophane strands in the scalp where the strand begins and in the nape's bottom, where the strand ends.
(The glue I used was "tekbond universal craft" glue, but you can use an E6000 glue which is the same thing!)
