Here's a new inking video for you all! It's been a while since we've done one and Jen has updated her technique since then :D

This video is mostly at 4x but we slow it down to 2x for the facial features as they tend to be more delicate :3

Jen uses 3 different nibs when inking. The G-nib for the overall form, the School Pen for details and things that need consistent lines and the Maru for the eyes nose and mouth.

G-nibs are good for expressive fluid lines that vary in line width.

School Pens are good for consistent lines.

Maru is good for details.

Jen also uses Pilot Ink. It's not totally waterproof, but it is very smooth and doesn't jam up the nibs the way other waterproof ink does.

And the paper is Japanese manga paper, Deleter and I-C are both very good brands with a smooth texture ideal for inking. :D

Jen inking Viverette! The video is sped up 4x for the general inks and 2x for the face. Jen was having trouble keeping the paper in the center cause she turns the paper a lot when she inks XD --- Music used in this video: Fruits by JayJen Music https://soundcloud.com/jayjenmusic Creative Commons — Attribution 3.0 Unported — CC BY 3.0 http://creativecommons.org/licenses/b...
