Early Music Screening: 7 AM (Animal Crossing: Taking Root) (Patreon)

Hello everyone! Our 24-song compilation of fan Animal Crossing music continues as the sun rises during 7 AM! This one introduces an instrument essential to the Animal Crossing sound, in my view: the Rhodes. It was all over Wild World, and it's provided a warm wash of color ever since. Included here is the loopable audio file and the thumbnail art I'll use tomorrow!

Your surroundings seem as though they're waking up, filled with color from the early morning sunlight. Trees bear decadent new fruit, and some insects are active while the day is nice and quiet. In fact, it's a fair bit quieter than the time you remember on the island... maybe today could go toward finding a bit of company? Stopping by a friend, or making a new one? It's only 7 AM, there's so much potential for what the day could bring...

Also, fun little detail I thought of while painting this. In this game, trees would not grow fruit perfectly symmetrical by default. They'd grow with some natural randomness in position and rotation, making an orchard look a tiny bit more natural. You'd need to water and tend to a newborn tree for it to grow perfectly positioned fruit... which could yield a chance of a particularly high-value fruit growing.
