Hello again! Today I wanted to share the original upload of Minute Murder, an experimental little video created for MicroEssay Mixtape Vol. 2 (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qgF9zZ0aXvM). It gives you one minute of information about a puzzle, framed as a murder mystery. But it doesn't provide the answer; that's for you to figure out from the information in the report. I'd really like to try this kind of short-form puzzle-y storytelling again at some point, it's really fun to crunch it into 60 seconds. And if you feel you've figured this one out, feel free to send me a direct message here on Patreon, so as not to spoil it (:

Also, here are the four original paintings I made for the four objects in question during this puzzle! Digitally painted in Clip Studio Paint, inspired by film noir backgrounds and lighting.

The freshly buttered knife:

The broken birdcage:

Minute Murder - a mystery by Scruffy

Previously submitted for MicroEssay Mixtape Vol. 2 (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qgF9zZ0aXvM). Each video had to be exactly 60 seconds long, so I filled my video with just enough information about a fictitious murder mystery to present the answer, but not directly reveal it! Can you figure out which weapon caused the Minute Murder?
