i just wanted to say i liked your video and i appreciate you making it to inform everyone though i already suspected that what you said is true i subscribe to crunchy roll and netflix but most of the time the animes i like are really hard to find so i can support them other then those two outlets. either that or there just too expensive and dont seem worth it for the amount i have to pay. the amount i will pay for a certain anime depends heavily on how much i like the anime a big example is hiro mashima hes one of my favorite if not favorite of all time anime creators. but even so i prefer to only pay for the anime/manga since i refuse to buy the products associated with it unless i am guarenteed it wont affect the quality of the anime why waiste money on useless products that im never going to use unless for example say i find out that hiro mashima is saying that if someone buys enough juvia lockser merchandise that he will give her more screen time also as for canabalization of series i personally think its just like in rl where people have a monopoly on a single service a competion is ussally a good thing and personally i think sword art online is heavily over hyped and prefer animes like log horizon and .hack also as for underdog i prefer to try before i buy also i mean sure awesome action seems are a great way to get me to spend money but that alone gets boring with out plot and other things behind it a good example of this is the dead fantasy series on youtube <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EHA3opXjcd0" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EHA3opXjcd0</a> this is a amazing series considering its made by only one person and has some pretty good action even if i disagree on certain things about the series but the point i was trying to make is that this you tube series is purely action which gets boring after awhile even though it had pretty good action maybe even very good it still got boring after 25-32 min which is what im afraid will happen when i hear people say watch a certain anime because it has the best action scenes you have ever seen
