Round-Up: August 17th-23rd, 2020 (Patreon)

It’s that time of the week again where I attempt to walk you through the digiverse and all the happenings therin. I’m very excited to announce that the Digibro OnlyFans page is Unzipped and ready for business! This is a venture I have been dreaming about for months, and although there have been big changes to my original idea, I’m happy to finally be working on some hentai content. This endeavor will be totally separate from the Patreon and will be funded on its own through OnlyFans. So if you aren’t that into me describing monster rape, no worries there hehe :3

Unfortunately, we’ve been having some problems with YouTube. Digi received two copyright strikes while attempting to upload the full Asterisk War video. The video was available on the channel for almost a day before it was claimed by Sony and pulled down from YouTube. The other strike was from an earlier attempted uphold of the video. I am hopeful that both strikes will be reversed upon appeal but it’s scary trying to release more anime content knowing one more strike will kill the channel. Cue nightmare flashbacks from early 2019.

A return to old school Digi-form. Sadly, this reupload was demonetized for showing just a few seconds of the 1981 mecha anime Gold Lightan. Mashimo Koichi has worked to create many incredible anime, including one of my all-time-favorite films Ai City, but  I can’t look at Madlax without bursting out in laughter. It was not surprising at all to learn that that atrocity was conceived of in a drunken state. Digi’s yuri fanfiction is by far the greatest byproduct of studio Bee Train.

-YouTube Doesn’t Want Me To Show You Anime Content

Don’t panic, don’t panic, don’t panic.... I’m f*cking panicking! After things finally start looking up for the channel, we get hit with two whammies. There is a growing doubt that anime content will stay viable on YouTube. Videos that have been up for years are now putting the channel at risk of termination. YouTube’s content ID detection is only becoming more aggressive and channels are being permanently taken down without warning. On top of that, starting next year Japan will enforce more strict copyright law. This is not the end of the line for the Digibro & Digi-nee channel but it’s clear that now it’s time to diversify and improve communication with the audience so people will know what is going on in the event the channel is taken down. It has meant so much to see all the support from fans and we are dedicated to bringing you the best content no matter what!!
