Winter Wrap Up - Night 8 & 9 (Patreon)

The intro of this video was an attempt at artfully explaining the same things I would have in the Night 8 update I missed to a larger audience without losing their attention on the way to some kind of more substantial video. But to decompartmentalize the information:

I planned a whole suite of Top lists of the decade over the last few days, originally thinking that if I could edit half of one every day, I'd still have time to do hours of rants each day, and therefore planned out the number of lists based on what I could get done between lists and finishing rewards/my book/things I've been talking about in this segment. Of course, what I didn't really think about what KHANTEHNT, and how twice a week that will be half an afternoon on its own. The first list video, which I've edited half of as mentioned in this video, came out to 35 minutes long, which is about 10 minutes longer than I'd originally anticipated.

Luckily, I have  a pretty good idea of which lists will take which amounts of time to make, and I have no problem kicking a lot of them back into January. I can probably get the top youtubers one out pretty easily, and I'm considering doing my top music video choices in the style of my top OP and ED lists that I did in the summer. Depending on what kind of time is left in the year, maybe I can squeeze in one of the shorter lists too, like my Top 15 games, which should also take like less than an hour to edit.

So that's the plan: a mix of list work, catching up on rants and other rewards, and KHANTEHNT until the month is over. But I don't know if those list videos on their own will be enough to keep the channel alive through the winter. I have another Whirling Dervish nearly completed, and I could easily make more let's play content, but I think I'm more interested in doing vlogs of me reading written content. Honestly, this type of content is some of my favorite on youtube--Don Jolly being my current favorite active channel based on content just like this. My writing is my strongest suit, IMO, so why not flex it as hard as possible? I hope it felt like I was doing that here. To be honest, it's legit easier for me and faster to produce a top-quality script than it is to produce even low-quality video editing, simply because editing is only fun when it is more creative than utilitary, which it usually is for the most part in my productions.
