NEW RANT PRICING NEXT MONTH--READ MORE! (Patreon)

Well, you knew this was coming, but maybe not the way I'm doing it.

Having at this point spent months being consistently behind on rants, while life only ever grows more complex and I only ever get more busy, it's clear that I should be trying something different. However, just linearly raising the price of rants didn't seem like a super-promising idea, so we're gonna do something different by separating the easier and harder rants to do.

$10 RANTS: I WILL NOT WATCH/READ/DO ANYTHING - That's right, regular rants are gonna drop to ten bucks--just as long as I don't have to do anything for them. Getting out rants which just ask for something like "rant about weed" or "rant about X song you made" are easy and fun to do and take very little time. These are the ones I usually marathon through in a day or two at the end of a given month.

$20 RANTS: I WILL WATCH/READ/DO ANYTHING THAT TAKES LESS THAN 25 MINUTES- Pretty self-explanatory, and pretty much the way things are right now. If you want me to watch an episode of a show or a youtube video or something, it'll just cost a bit more than it used to, simply because the extra time investment basically amounts to these rants taking 4x longer to make than a regular one would.

$30 RANTS: I WILL WATCH/READ/DO ANYTHING UP TO A LIMIT - Up until now, the maximum time commitment I've been willing to make for a rant is 30 minutes, though I've gone over that a few times on things I was interested in. From here on out, it will have a clearer structure:

-I will watch a full movie

-I will watch three episodes of a show

-I will watch up to a 2-hour youtube video

-I will read up to 100 pages (or 30k words)

-I will listen to up to 2 hours of music

HOW DO YOU KNOW IF I NEED TO WATCH THE THING?: PM me and ask before you decide your patronage. I will respond simply with the category the request falls under.

So that's going to be the price point starting in December. Remember, the October rants are still yet to release, and I haven't even made the thread yet for the November ones, so if you already paid for a rant this month, you will still be getting it as per the current system. It is only payments made from December 1st onward which will be effected by this plan. I will change the reward tiers on November 30th, and I will post this exact same post again the day before just to make sure everyone knows.
