10/10, sorry the video part of this is weird I was wasted when editing it.

All I'm going to say is, people need to learn to be a better quality of fans.

Digi, I didn't realize you were so frustrated with the fandom. I thought the video game thing was just a branch off, not a "I'm really tired of MLP analysis celebrity" thing. I hope you realize that you do have a lot of positive support in doing this stuff. If your stuff wasn't worth anything, no one would watch it. I mean, you keep saying that you really love doing this stuff, and then you spend a good five minutes in an analysis video talking about the completely unrelated negatives. I just came away feeling less psyched about the episode, which you call one of the best ever, and more concerned about you.

Don't be too worried, it's more of a looking back kind of thing. I like to try and deny the idea that I've changed or that the landscape is different, but the bottom line is that the first 3 weeks of January were really stressful for me. And it just happens that right when all that stress went away and I felt really amazing, this ep came out. The video game thing and some other avenues are currently where my passion is more directed, as I've been wanting to get into those things for a very long time. I still want to make pony videos, but I don't want to do it if I'm phoning it in. I actually had decided ahead of time that if I didn't think I had enough to say about this episode, I was gonna cover A Friend In Deed instead. And next week, if I don't have enough to say, I might cover a different ep. I just think I've been going about this the wrong way by trying to talk about episodes that aren't the focus of my passion right now. I think people will start to really understand why my passion is shifting as my new videos keep coming out. The video game videos are a much larger challenge and much more a test of my abilities, I think, and the video I'll put out tomorrow will show where my creativity is going right now. It's stuff I'm excited about, which is why I wanted to do things like talk about Three's A Crowd in a simple video format so that I could get back to work on other reviews that I was more worried about.

Nice analysis on this one! I don't always agree with your take on things, but I think you were pretty spot-on this time. Actually, it might be better when I don't agree and instead get a chance to see another perspective on things, but this episode was just so good and so on point! Continuing to do good work on stuff even when you'd rather not is part of being a professional at pretty much anything. I do think you've done just that so far, but it's definitely not easy. It's a trick to not phone it in when you're not feeling passionate about something, but usually passion for anything waxes and wanes. Sometimes you just have to grit your teeth through the doldrums and wait to get the groove back. Producing something remarkable that you're good at and want to do is laudable - still producing something remarkable that you're good at even when you don't want to do it is a career.
