In this episode I start with a discussion about writing styles that make you difficult to associate with, cultural appropriation in Pokemon (and why it doesn't matter to me), and the shifting paradigm of what I consider to be normal versus what a portion of my fanbase considers to be acceptable discussion. It's a doozy!

I think the sample video was a great idea. I came right from the Kiki video because it made me realize how much I wanted in on these podcasts.

Mind you, it bumped me from a 1 to a 15 dollar pledge. I really like the normal content, so I wanted in on the discord, but the descriptions of the extra content alone weren't enough for me initially. Thought that may be useful info.

Personally, I don't mind that you keep bringing up your weed smoking. Although, you keep saying that it lets you analyze anime way more deeply and yet I've yet to see another deep dive / multi-part series deconstructing an anime. I want to see some of the new horizons you are talking about, Show don't tell. I don't mind you keep boasting about sex but you aren't bringing any new or interesting discussion about it. It really *does* feel like you are throwing in our faces saying things like "I spend more time having sex than watching anime." If that really is the case where is your "Your sex sucks" 12 part series? :P I patreon you because you are (some would argue "were") an anime reviewer. The finish or fail series is good content but it feels digi-lite. There is almost no analysis on the shows you are watching besides a couple of small snippets and a "I/we will keep watching or not". Granted not every anime can use deep thought provoking content but it feels like you channel has devolved a bit into light/fluffy content.

I patroned the other day as a response to the second meta hole, so i guess that could give you an idea of the content i care about you making. Watching main channel is more of a habitual thing ive been doing for years, but the thing that i love and want to give you money for is the quirky podcasts with your girlfriend, the albums, the weed-fueled sparks of inspiration. Im here for the weird shit and im glad you want that stuff to exist because i do to.
