My Process and Inspirations (Patreon)

So guys, right now, thanks to the voting, I have an overall idea about a comic that you want to see and I would love to make. The story is about a guy who gets an ID card in the mail. His buddy comes over, and with each comparison, he becomes that girl, who happens to be a sorority girl.
I want to be crystal clear: to get the idea, I used this manga.

Why would I copy a story and not make my own?
I always thought that going with my completely unique story would work, but honestly, a story might work for me in my head, but I have no idea if it would work in production, especially with an audience like you guys. So, I decided to look for skeletons—not overly common stories but rare ones that really clicked with me. With some of my own tweaks, I would implement them. I see this trend with many successful artists; you can't reinvent the wheel. For a small artist next to a full-time job, this is especially true for me.
What do I expect from this?
Honestly, I want my stories to be re-readable.
