A ligne claire Bailey, inspired by the aesthetics of TinTin!

This one was particularly fun, since I tried my best to match the way Hergé drew animal fur - bears specifically - and curly/textured hair. I also limited myself to the actual colors present in the original comics, which thankfully had a few good shades of blue!

The lettering is derived from an unofficial reproduction of the original French typefaces, with the overall linework meant to depict a sort of bleeding yet clean pen. (I allowed a little color bleed here and there, because printing errors)

I do think a bit more weathering on the colors would make the piece a little more authentic, but for a quick experiment, I'm pretty happy with how it came out!

I'm considering doing a series of pics in the style of different 2D media, to warm up and have a little fun!
